Venetian Blinds In Yorkshire

Venetian blinds are horizontal slats you can pivot open or closed using a cord or handle at the side to allow natural light to filter. The entire blind also can be fully raised using a side-based cord system,  allowing the whole window and frame to be open fully or partially.

Venetian blinds come in many styles and materials, but they are usually made from wood, MDF with a plastic vinyl layer, PVC or aluminium. Although we always think that the most popular choice, wood, offers the ultimate elegance.

Venetians offer 95% light block, but they are not blackout blind. If you want total darkness, we suggest looking at roller, vertical, or roman blinds with blackout lining features.

Venetian blinds (roller and vertical too) are usually hung from within the recess inside your window frame. The only exception is Roman blinds which hang better outside your window frame recess to enable more light.
